I love Acton Graduates. What they have in common is a burning desire to change the world…one where everyone is a positive contributor. They understand that their work life is a leverage point where they can very much succeed in that goal. Acton and its grads have had, and will continue to have, a meaningful and positive impact on our company. Thanks, Acton.

I always pay special note when I see Acton on a resume. While many business schools recruit and produce graduates with a high IQ, business acumen, and competence, Acton is unique in their ability to instill two hard to teach qualities. First, Acton alumni are introspective and self aware, which gives them the drive and the skills to understand how they can add value to the business and relentlessly improve that value over time. They also come into the business with an almost pragmatic understanding of the real world constraints under which ‘real’ companies operate. That provides both a humility and ‘roll up your sleeves’ work ethic that is hard to instill and train on the job.

After Acton, with the knowledge (my son) Usman gained, he was roaring to go conquer the business world. After this life changing experience, he was more confident than before because of the tools Acton added to his arsenal. With the questions Usman was asking me, I could tell that Acton really sharpened his entrepreneurship mentality. I’d recommend Acton to any striving entrepreneur.

I was so proud to have both my son and daughter attend Acton, the opportunity to delve into the lifelong quest to live a life of meaning is something I have not seen in other MBA programs. As an employer, it’s great to see that Acton graduates know how to “do and act” vs simply “study and think”…. this is a real differentiator for the school and I admire the men and women that graduate from the program.

The thing that’s stood out to me most about Acton alumni is their work ethic. Other MBA’s I’ve worked with come in looking for a fancy title, whereas Acton students look for where they can add the most value.
